Body Of Shelby Man, Sent For Autopsy, After Located In Richland County Pond

An investigation is underway after a boat capsized in Richland County, where one person died.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said, they are investigating a drowning at Mackey’s Pond in Plymouth Township. Officers were called on Saturday night, when the boat capsized with three people on board. Two people swam to shore and are expected to survive.

A search was conducted for the 3rd person, who was found the next day. According to RichlandSource.com, the name of the deceased person has been identified as Zackery Willis, 24, from Shelby. His body was recovered on Sunday afternoon and will be taken to Montgomery County for an autopsy.
