Boys Hoops - Senior Night: Lexington Beats Ashland, Remains Perfect In OCC

The Lexington Minutemen ran their overall record to 17-1 and remained perfect, 11-0, in the Ohio Cardinal Conference with a 74-50 win, at home vs Ashland.

Lex started the game with a 10-0 lead, but Ashland trimmed it to just 3 points - at the end of the 1st quarter. The Minutemen built a 9 point lead at the half and pushed it to 10 - after 3 quarters. Lex outscored the Arrows, 22-8, in the final frame to post the win.

Lexington had 4 players in double figures: Brayden Fogle 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, Elijah Hudson had 15 pts, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks, Joe Caudill 12 pts and a team high 5 steals, while Gavin Husty played well, adding 12 points. The Minutemen had 19 steals as a team on the evening.

Ashland was led in scoring by Paxon Ediger with 17, while Tyler Sauder and Gabe Baith each chipped in 10.
