The Mansfield Planning Commission voted this week to give a 90 day extension on the demolition order for the West Park Shopping Center on Park Ave West.
RichlandSource.com reports, the owners of the property asked for a 6 month extension, as their attorney and COO ( chief Operating Officer) said, they received two offers in the last week for the property, which proposed to keep the structures, rehabilitate them and spend around $3 million dollars. One idea mentioned was a self- storage facility. One of the offers came from an organization out of the state of Utah.
