Ashland Approves Ordinance To Advertise For Bids Over $75,000

In Ashland, City Council recently approved an ordinance that will allow Ashland officials to pursue projects that cost less than $75,000 without advertising for a bid first. The previous threshold, according to RichlandSource.com, was $50,000, which was set back in 2013.

Mayor, Matt Miller, said, the update makes sense with inflation and the rising cost of materials.
