Bid For 4th Richland County Courtroom, Clerk Office 35% Less Than Estimate

The Richland County Commissioners have awarded the contract to add a 4th Courtroom and a new office for the Clerk Of Courts to a company from Crawford County.

Richland County Commissioner, Tony Vero, said, the $1.5 million bid went to Studer-Obringer out of New Washington. Vero went on to say, the bid was 35% less than the estimate of $2.1 million.

Construction is expected to start by the end of this year and hopes to be complete by the end of 2024.
