The village of Plymouth got some good news on Tuesday, as mayor, Cassaundra Fryman, announced the village has been awarded $1.7 million grant from ODOT, which will be used to replace the bridge on Broadway Street.

According to RichlandSource.com, Fryman thanked, Marilyn John, State Representative 2nd District, for helping to secure the funding. The bridge has been closed for over a year and the closure has impacted between 350 – 400 homes in that area.

Fryman said, construction, pending any delays, is expected to start in 2026.
