Health Insurance prices for employees will cost Richland County about 13% more in 2024.
According to RichlandSource.com, Richland County is a part of the County Employee Benefits Consortium of Ohio, which is a pooled health insurance that has 46 counties and Richland joined in 2017.
Richland County’s cost for the benefits was $3.8 million in 2022, $4.1 million in 2023 and could rise to just over $4.5 million in 2024. Richland County has around 570 employees, which has a total of roughly 1,200 people insured on the plan.
