Mansfield Police are concerned with excessive speeding, drag racing and noise complaints, as late as 3 am, along the Miracle Mile.
The stretch on Park Ave West, from Home road to Trimble Road, has saw one fatality occur, along with the PD issuing between April and August of 2023: 216 citations, 126 warnings, 8 arrests, along with recovering a stolen vehicle.
There is talk about two pieces of legislation, one for cruising and the other possibly for loitering, related to drag racing going on at the same time. Some people coming from as far as 100 miles, mainly on Friday and Saturday nights.
