The Crawford County Sheriff is reporting a fatal accident occurred on State Route 97, south of Millsboro road on Wednesday morning just before 8 a.m.
The driver, who has not yet been identified, was northbound on 97 and traveled off the road, striking a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Crawford County Coroner. The Galion Fire Department and EMS responded, while Ontario Police assisted the Crawford County Sheriff at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
