Motorcyclist killed, 2 others injured in Wayne County crash on Saturday

A motorcyclist was killed and two other people, including a toddler, were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Wayne County, over the weekend. The Wooster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol was notified of a two-vehicle serious-injury crash at an intersection of U.S. Route 30 in Sugar Creek Township on Saturday. 57-year-old Gerald Siegel of Canton was killed after striking the side of a Dodge Caravan, which failed to yield and crossed the median into the path of Siegel. The driver of the Dodge caravan and a 2-year old passenger, were transported to Akron Childrens hospital. The incident, including whether speed or impairment played a role in the crash, remains under investigation.
