Galion School Board Selects New Superintendent

In Galion, the school board has made their choice for the district’s new superintendent.

According to RichlandSource.com, a vote was made to offer the contract to Dr. Jeffrey Hartmann, who is the current principal at Stow-Monroe Falls High School in the Akron area.

Galion Board of Education President, Grant Garverick, said, Dr. Hartmann is the right person to lead our district and advance learning experiences.  If agreed, Hartmann would start in the role on August 1st.

Current Galion Superintendent, Jennifer Allerding, is leaving to take the Superintendent job in Loudonville.
