Priest, Who Spent Time In Mansfield, Convicted On Sex Trafficking Charges

A priest, who spent 5 years in Mansfield, has been found guilty on sex trafficking charges.

 

RichlandSource.com reports, 56 year old Michael Zacharias was on trial last week in Northern Ohio District Court in Toledo. Friday, he was found guilty on all 5 counts of sex trafficking, which two involved minors.

A date for sentencing has not yet been scheduled. Zacharias was an associate pastor at Mansfield St. Peter's from 2002 to 2007. The allegations date back over a decade, but he was arrested at his home in Findlay in 2020.

 

He has spent time in Toledo, Columbus, Van Wert, Fremont and Findlay.
