On May 12, 2023, Deputies from Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at 879 E. Walnut St Galion, Ohio 44833. The Search warrant came at the conclusion of an investigation into illegal narcotics being used and sold from the property. Galion Police Department also assisted.
Arrested was Ashley McNeely, age 39. Ashley was the target of the investigation for trafficking in methamphetamines. Prior to the execution of the search warrant Deputies initiated a traffic stop on Ashley who was operating a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. Ashley was found to be in possession of approximately 35 grams of methamphetamines. Deputies seized suspected methamphetamines, prescription medication, suspected cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the residence.
Ashely was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. Ashley is facing charges of trafficking in methamphetamines among other charges. Reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges.
This case is still being investigated by the Detectives from the Sheriff’s office. Sheriff Scott Kent and Lt.
