Richland County Prosecutor, Gary Bishop, has announced he is retiring due to health reasons.
Bishop’s legal career spans over 35 years, according to RichlandSource.com. Bishop will retire effective April 10, which will then give the Richland County Republican Party Central Committee between 5 and 45 days to fill the position. Bishop was re-elect back in 2020 and is a graduate of Bowling Green and the Toledo College of Law.
