Mansfield 3rd Street Culvert Replacement Estimated To Cost $4.5 Million

Mansfield City Council has given the OK to pursue bids for a culvert replacement on East Third Street. RichlandSource.com reports, Engineer Bob Bianchi said it is a very big project, which has been in the works for about a year and a half. The culvert is used to move storm water underground and is 15 feet wide and close to 8 feet deep. A $500,000 grant has been secured through the Ohio Public Works Commission and will see the other $4 million come from Mansfield’s Sewer fund.
