The Richland County Board of Elections has begun preparation to hold a 2nd Primary Election in August, after it was announced district maps that were twice deemed unconstitutional, will be used for the special election in Ohio.
Matt Finfgeld, director of the Richland County board of elections, says the deadline to register to vote in the August 2nd election is July 5th, which will see early voting begin on July 6th.
Finfgeld is expecting a much lower turnout than the near 25% in the November Primary with only a few names on the ballot
