The Mansfield Noon Optimist Club is getting ready to begin a campaign to raise $100,000 dollars, half of which will go toward building a playground for the Little Buckeye Children’s Museum on the site of their new museum on West Third Street.

RichlandSource.com reports, next year is the 100th anniversary of the Optimist Club in Mansfield and they want to give back to the community.

Fred Boll, Executive Director of the Museum, says the playground will be imagination based and will be a first for the downtown area, as there are currently no parks in downtown Mansfield.
