Mansfield Adding $315,000 To Help Small Businesses Affected By COVID-19

Mansfield is helping local businesses in the food and beverage industry, along with entertainment and lodging affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

RichlandSource.com reports, the Mansfield Board of Control on Tuesday approved more than $300,000 for small businesses. The grant program is being handled by the Richland Area Chamber and Economic Development, which saw the County Commissioners get the fund started by contributing $1 million dollars.

Mansfield’s Economic Development Director Tim Bowersock saying this is needed. The grants will vary from $10,000 to $30,000. Mansfield money using from the American Rescue Plan.
