Commissioners Approve $1 Million For Businesses Affected by COVID

The Richland County Commissioners this week approved a $1 million dollar program to help local businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

RichlandSource.com reports, the grants will vary anywhere from $10,000 to $30,000 dollars and be handled through the Richland Area Chamber and Economic Development. The funds coming through the American Rescue Plan, which by next year will see Richland County receive more than $23 million dollars.
