State Health Officials Thursday held a press conference, as concern continues to grow about rising COVID-19 cases in Ohio and the strain that it’s putting on hospitals.

Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff said cases of COVID-19 and those being hospitalized due to the virus, are higher in the Northern part of the state.

Richland County’s cases have been quickly rising with a 56% jump in the amount of cases in the last week. Over 750 new cases have been reported in the last 7 days in Richland County.
