Ohio lawmakers on Wednesday voted to override a veto on Senate Bill 22, which limits the Ohio Governor's power on public health orders.
The Ohio Senate and House had a majority vote to override the veto by Governor Mike DeWine. The bill will become law in 90 days, unless there is a legal challenge, according to RichlandSource.com. This would give lawmakers a seat at the table and be able to vote on a state of emergency, limit what health boards are able to do and rescind health orders.
