The Richland County Land Bank is assisting in the cleanup, where a toxic substance was found in Madison Township.
According to RichlandSource.com, the Land Bank is applying for a state grant to clean up site on Express view Drive. The grant will cover researching the history of the site and taking soil samples before the actually cleanup will get underway. Madison Township has plans to use the land to build a new fire station.
