Richland Academy Of The Arts Closed For Two Weeks Due To COVID-19

Richland Academy Closing Through February 14

February 1, 2021 - Mansfield, OH – The Richland Academy of the Arts Board of Directors have decided under the guidance of the Richland County Health Department to close the Richland Academy building for 2 weeks because of COVID-19. This closing will be effective Monday, February 1 through Sunday, February 14.All classes and lessons will resume the week of February 15. Richland Academy will be extending the Spring Semester into May to ensure that all classes and lessons will be made up.

Thanks to the Ohio Arts Council Cares Funds and the generosity of MG Energy, Richland Academy has been fortunate to have already installedneedlepoint bipolar ionization units throughout the facility to upgrade indoor air quality and to fight the spread of COVID-19. In addition, the Academy has invested in a new disinfectant sprayer where surfaces throughout the building are disinfected with the same disinfectant solution used in hospitals. The Academy will continue their deep cleaning procedures through the closure.
