Richland County Board of Elections Has Received 8,500 Absentee Ballots

The Richland County Board of Elections, as of this week, has already received 8,500 requests for mail-in, absentee ballots, ahead of the November Election.

Richland County Board of Elections Director Paulette Hankins said the county during the last presidential election in 2016, received more than 9,400 ballots by mail, which was around 17% of the total votes in Richland County.

RichlandSource.com reports, the board finalized the November ballot this week. The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 5th.
