$500,000 will be available for small businesses in Richland County, thanks for the Cares ACT for COVID-19 Relief.
RichlandSource.com reports, the news comes through a program that includes the city of Mansfield, the Richland County Commissioners and the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce.
MansfieldCity Council and the Richland County Commissioners, both this week approved the grant program for $275,000 toward the program and $50,000 for the Chamber.
Mansfield Mayor Tim Theaker and the County Commissioners are discussing how much could go to each small business that applies, which could be anywhere from $2,000 up to $10,000 dollars.
