Mansfield City Council has approved to accept a grant through the recent Cares ACT for Mansfield Lahm Airport.
Council President Cliff Mears says the airport is set to receive $69,000.
The FAA recently had been restricting some hours for air traffic controllers at Lahm Airport, but Mears says that money can't be used for salaries or wages.
He said the funds can only be used for operation and maintenance.
