Someone 'signing on'

More than 42-thousand new unemployment claims were filed in Ohio last week. The state's Department of Job and Family Services says in the past ten weeks, one-point-two million Ohioans filed claims, more than the total of those filed in three years combined. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state has paid out more than three-billion dollars in claims. More than two-million Americans filed claims last week as well.
