Friday's Regional Manufacturing Coalition meeting in Mansfield underscored the positive feeling for north central Ohio's economic health shared by the mayors of four of its largest cities. According to RichlandSource.com, Ashland Mayor Matt Miller reflected on the growth brought to his town through the recent changes in leadership among several of its organizations, while Shelby Mayor Steve Schag spoke on his hope to allow growth in his town with as little red tape as possible. Mansfield Mayor Tim Theaker and Ontario Mayor Randy Hutchinson agreed with Schag in declaring economic development a "priority."
