Ashland School Board Open Seat

The Ashland School board hopes to fill its open seat by the end of this month, after President Will Gravitt officially resigned on Sept. 30th. Vice President Jim Wolfe took over as School board President, after Gravitt announced he was leaving the area to take a job in Oberlin. RichlandSource.com reports, three names are considered the finalist for the open seat: Zach Truax, Colleen Cook and Brandon Wells. The person chosen by the board will serve out the remainder of Gravitt’s term, which runs through Jan 1st, 2020.
