Ashland City Council approves $71,000 for Tennis Courts

Ashland City Council has approved just over $71,000 to pay for an unexpected cost in the resurfacing of the tennis courts at Brookside Park. RichlandSource.com reports Concrete will need to be added, as Ashland Mayor Matt Miller says significant soil issues at the site is the problem. Three of the tennis courts were built back in the 1950’s and the other three were constructed in the 1970’s. Ashland City Council recently approved a grant from the State of Ohio to help resurface tennis courts.
