Crawford County Corrections Officer Resigns After Indictment

A Corrections Officer with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has resigned after a 6 count indictment against him.  RichlandSource.com reports, the news comes about a week after the indictment against 43 year old Jason Michael Tupps.  The charges include felonies for abduction and improper handling of a firearm, which stem from an incident in Galion back on July 9th. Tupps reportedly got into a car accident and then followed the woman into Galion. Tupps then held her at gun point until police arrived. Tupps was arrested and a hand gun was found, along with 45 rounds of ammunition.
