Ashland County Officials Set to Upgrade Dispatch Center

Ashland County officials are set to spend up to $500,000 to upgrade the Ashland County Dispatch Center, which has old equipment and needs replaced. RichlandSource.com reports, the hope is this will lure city leaders to rejoin the Ashland County Dispatch Center. Right now, the cities of Wooster, Ashland and Orrville are part of the Wooster, Ashland Regional Dispatch Center.   Ashland County Commissioner Denny Brittle said the total overhaul would cost about $800,000. Ashland police and fire administrators say they are happy with the Wooster, Ashland Regional Dispatch Center.
