Suspect Arrested in Mansfield Homicide

The Mansfield Division of Police, Major Crimes Unit would like to announce an arrest has been made in connection with the Nolan Lovett, homicide. This arrest is in reference to several "911" calls received on May 3rd, 2018 at 2:13 PM when officers were summoned to 737 Bowman Street for a shooting. When police arrived they found Mr. Lovett laying in the yard with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Ohio Health Mansfield hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Through evidence processing, various tips, and investigative leads; Khairi A. Bond (D.O.B. 08/01/95) was arrested in connection with the murder of Mr. Lovett. The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located Mr. Bond in Delaware County this morning and placed him under arrest in reference to a “Murder” warrant without incident.
