Madison Deciding What To Do With Junior High Property

The Madison School board is deciding what to do with the property of the old Madison junior high. Right now, the land on Ashland road is being used just for soccer fields, but is costing the district money. RichlandSource.com reports that board president Jeff Myers said the up keep for mowing, insurance and driveway paving, is not going toward education.  The board is set to get an appraisal for the land to see its value and decide the next step for the district. One comment during public comment was that there are no public parks in Madison Township.
