Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Mansfield Couple Found Dead In Home

A Mansfield couple was found dead in their home on Touby Road Wednesday morning. Officials believe that the cause was Carbon Monoxide Poisoning.  29 year old Cody Keller and 34 year old Megan Keller were found on their living room floor Wednesday just after 8:30 am, when neither showed up for work and did not call.

The Washington Fire Department said Carbon Monoxide levels showed 4,000, which is deadly.  The couple recently had a new coal burner installed and they were concerned about it malfunctioning and causing high levels of Carbon Monoxide.

Officers said they could smell a rotten egg odor and had to leave the house at first due to the high Carbon Monoxide levels.
