Next week in the Bellville area, there will be an exercise for local first responders and hazmat team. Richland County Emergency Management Agency Deputy Director Rick Evans said this will take place on Wednesday, October 4th, starting at 5 pm. Evans said it will last a couple of hours and will see many agencies take part in the training. Evans said they will also have an evacuation procedure and want to let the public know that this not a real emergency.
