Ontario Unhappy with Lack of Development at Former GM Plant Site

The City of Ontario has been waiting 5 years for the Adler Group to deliver on its promise of 500 jobs, following the closing of the GM Plant. Ontario City Council voice its frustration this week, as nothing has materialized at the former site.

RichlandSource.com reports that the Adler Group entered into an agreement with the city that that would create 500 jobs at the property over a 5 year span or pay the city of Ontario $1 million. During this week’s meeting Council members call the site an “eye sore”. The Adler Group hopes to come to some kind of an agreement without a lawsuit.
