The Richland County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is working with the FBI as they continue to search for a man who robbed the Madison Branch of Mechanics Bank on Ashland Road on Friday evening. Richland Source Dot Com reported the suspect was a white male in his 20s with brown hair and medium build. The suspect brandished a gun and demanded money from a cashier then exited the back of the building near the drive thru. The Sheriff's office does have a possible suspect vehicle but would not confirm any details. No one was injured in the incident.
