Sheriff Office called to Madison High School after bomb threat found in bathroom

The Richland County Sheriff Office was called to Madison High School on Thursday afternoon, after a bomb threat was found written on a girls bathroom stall.  Officials say it’s not known when the threat was written on the stall, because a janitor was starting to clean the writing off the wall. The threat indicated a certain time for the bomb to go off and when a student finally saw the threat, it was several hours later.

The school’s classes were ending for the day and a report for inducing panic was filed. The school was searched and cleared by emergency personnel.  A photo of the threat was taken, but it’s still unknown at this time, who wrote the threat on the wall.
