Student from Crestline headed to St. Louis to Compete Scholarship Opportunities

A student from the Crestline area  is headed to St. Louis to compete with other finalists from all over the world for the title of Dean's List Award Winner, worldwide recognition, and a chance at major scholarship opportunities.

 Gabriella Allen is a high school junior and third year team member of the Stellar Robotics Team. She was awarded the Dean's List Finalist nomination at the Miami Valley Regional Competition in Springfield, OH last weekend.

Miss Allen will now travel to St. Louis to compete with other finalists from all over the world for the title of Dean's List Award Winner, worldwide recognition, and a chance at major scholarship opportunities.

Gabriella is the daughter of Randy and Heidi Allen of Crestline. She is a student mentor for elementary and junior high robotics teams affiliated with Stellar. Gabriella attends homeschool.

The team also competed on the field with their 2017 robot, M-54, in this year's game, FIRST Steamworks. They came away with a second place ranking and a semi-finalist finish.
